Late Night Social Media sesh

What's up everyone, I'm Kevin and its almost five o' clock in the morning here. I've been signing up for new social media sites and updating all the accounts I already have. I wrote a pretty dope bio, check it out!

Here it is:

My name is Kevin and I'm a singer-songwriter-guitarist-bassist-drummer from San Diego. Most of the music I write is alternative rock, but I am experimenting with incorporating hip hop, jazz, and hard rock/metal elements into my songs. My writing encompasses a wide range of styles and influences. I try to collaborate as much as possible with fellow musical pioneers to really diversify my sound.

Right now I am a student studying guitar at Musician's Institute in Hollywood. I'm also doing a lot of songwriting for my debut EP, expected to come out next year. Some of my songs I have already recorded and released, and some I only play at live shows around Los Angeles. For now, I am an acoustic solo act. When my CD comes out, I will be supporting it with a full band, and maybe even an electric trianglist (haha).

I plan to take the Audio Engineering and Independent Artist programs at MI so I can learn to be my own producer, writer, graphic designer, my own everything. That's the plan.
I recently moved to LA from Maryland (I lived there for a while inbetween living in San Diego and LA), where I started playing guitar and singing at age 8. I started drums at 11. In my early years, I played talent shows and school events, sometimes with garage-type bands, and sometimes by myself. In high school, I started playing in an alt-rock/Zeppelin cover band and a post-hardcore metal band, both on drums. I had some great times, but I decided to graduate early and move back to SoCal to pursue my career in music. So far it's unbelievable!

When I was little, I wanted to have magic powers. I wanted to be able to fly or to turn invisible whenever I wanted, because I wanted to be able to do things that made people say "wow". I guess at some point, I found something that could affect people way more than pretend magic. Because to me, music is the real thing.
